Pop down any time but text first cos am spending most of time in bed at present with CD playing up.
As promised I got up today at 09:15 to top up the feeders and moved some round. Went in house and got bins + scope ready and within couple of minutes the Provide six port feeder had six Siskins on with two more on the large Niger feeder, one on the nut feeder and two on the four port feeder, also had the Goldfinch tribe on these feeders and others, the Chaffinch tribe is slowly getting bigger had 6 today. Two Starling were on the slab suet and the female Reed Bunting came again.
Am sure my twelve assorted trees in back garden plus umpteen shrubs allow the birds lots of cover. As yet the Siskins have not ventured to front garden, but one Sparrow came round back for the nuts, there are three nut feeders on front garden.
If anyone wants to view my Siskins I can lay on hot drinks and biscuits etc
Cheers
John aka Max
PS: today's Siskins total 11 ( 6 female & 5 male) also took some pics.

We are going to have to pinch some of your seed , there is obviously a magic ingredient in it that keeps attracting all these good birds to your garden.

Despite illness today it didn't stop me viewing the garden from 06:30 off and on till going back to bed at 11:30 and staying there. At 08:25 spotted a female Reed Bunting again, it landed on rowan tree and flew to ground and was feeding below the sfh feeders while all hell broke loose up above with Siskins, Goldfinches and Chaffinches fighting for best places. Today had 8 male and 3 female Siskins plus a single Coal Tit, 4 Chaffinches, 11 Goldfinch, Blackbird, 12 Feral Pigeons, 2 Collared Dove and a Common Gull. Ill or not the feeders will be filled tomorrow.
Cheers
John

No Bramblings seen but increase in Siskins till today.
Feb 28th: Siskin - 11 (6 female & 5 male).
Feb 29th: Siskin - 10 ( 5 female & 5 male).
Feb 29th: Siskin - 14 ( 7 male & 7 female) this would have normally been the highlight but not yesterday, that happened at 08.30 when I pulled the blind up in kitchen and saw 4 Coal Tit in one of the Hawthorn trees, never had that amount before, had 3 one year. Seeing my fave tiny Coalie was awesome! Also saw 4 Chaffinch, 11 Goldfinch, 2 Collared Dove, 2 Jackdaw, 2 Magpie, 2 Crow, 12 Common Gull, 2 Great Tit, Blue Tit, Wood Pigeon, 14 Feral Pigeon, 3 Greenfinch & Blackbird,
March 1st: Didn't start watching till midday and also had a visitor so didn't get chance to look much, but when I did the gardens were devoid of birds which I found very odd, luckily they arrived back at 15:00 must have been shopping around for other gardens. Today Siskin - 6 (4 female & 2 male) all feeders are filled daily.
So the Siskins have been coming three weeks today!
Cheers

Feb 25th: Siskin - 8 ( 4m 4f ) spotted Magpie arranging twigs in Goat Willow.
Feb 26th: Siskin - 7 ( 3m 4f ) was at MSQ & BB most of day.
Feb 27th: Siskin - 10 ( 7m 3f ) also seen today Reed Bunting - one female
only watched during afternoon. Instead of one Chaffinch there were three today having lots of fights with the Siskins with the former bullying the Siskins off the feeders and there are nine feeders in back garden. Also three cats prowling about, I threw a spud at one.
