PS. That should go in colour ringed sightings but I can't seem to get it to go in there.

Belated news from Dean Nicholson of Sandwich Tern: blue KH6, that was near the tidal bell on Thedlethorpe beach on 19th Sept 2024. It was ringed as a chick on Blakeney Point, Norfolk, in July 2014 and quickly moved to Dawlish, Devon, after fledging where it remained until Jan the following year. It then wasn't seen for 4 years before turning up in Africa (Gambia) in Oct 2019. It then avoided detection for another 4 years before turning up once again in Norfolk at Scott Head in June 2023. Dean then saw it at Mablethorpe the following year and it has subsequently been seen in Finistere, NW France in April 2025. A well travelled bird!
