I have received this message from Geoff Styles of Lincoln RSPB:

We will be able to offer members of the Lincolnshire Bird Club the opportunity to join us on our Spring holiday to birding sites in Sussex in April 2026.

We already have enough bookings from our own members to ensure that the trip will go ahead, so I'm now able to open the trip to other groups.

All bookings are made through me (NOT through Cairngorm Travel) using the holidays@lincolnrspb.org.uk address, which is also seen by our Treasurer, Graham Mumby-Croft.

I have both double and twin rooms available, but I've sold out of single rooms.

if required, there could be a pick-up at Cleethorpes/ Grimsby and possibly Market Rasen.

We also discussed our special meeting on 12th March, when welcome David Lindo, the Urban Birder, as our guest speaker. We're selling tickets in advance for this at £6 (it will be £7.50 through Eventbrite) and anyone who's interested in coming down for it should contact Graham (email address copied in this mail) who is managing the sales for this one.

Venue is Lincoln Bishop University, where there is free parking, starting at 7.30 p.m.

i hope very much that we'll be able to welcome some of your members to one or both of these events.
