One dead Badger cub on path to hide at Elm House Farm, Saltfleetby St Clements, it would be unlikely to have been hit by a car, I wonder if it was killed by another Badger or a Fox?

Thanks for your response Mike. I have found several other dead badgers in this part of N E Lincs in the past few years, but this one was far more graphic and sad, which prompted me to make an entry here.

Neil, you may have found one dead badger in this part of Lincolnshire but I have seen dozens of dead badgers whilst driving in the north of Lincolnshire during the past two years and I won't have been the only person to have witnessed this very sad demise. All the dead badgers seem to have experienced the same fate but without showing any obvious signs of physical attack and they were all on the roadside trying to give the impression that they had been hit by traffic. What a massive coincidence but I think we all know that it isn't. Since there are government backed badger culls taking place in the West Country but not here, it couldn't be that some particular affected interest group has decided, quite illegally, to replicate this drastic action in Lincolnshire. Who could it be? (sic)

Dead badger was created by Neil Kurz
Found a dead, heavily pregnant badger this morning, on the grass verge on Newton Marsh Lane, Tetney Lock, near the AWA site. Had no obvious signs of injury from vehicle or dog/s. Very little vehicular traffic on this lane. Did not want to handle it, but it had not been there long and my over-riding feeling is that it had been shot.
