The publication of the Bird Report involves a huge amount of work, withmany individuals involved in its publication. Thanks are due to the observers who submit recordsto LBC, the two bird recorders, John Clarkson and Phil Hyde, the Lincolnshire Bird RecordsCommittee (LBRC), Roy Harvey and to Colin and Sheila Jennings for all the work undertakenin converting the raw data into the building blocks of the report. Our aims are to encourage and further the interest in the birdlife of the historic County of Lincolnshire; to participate in organised fieldwork activities; to collect and publish information on bird movements, behaviour, distribution and populations; to encourage conservation of the wildlife of the County and to provide sound information on which conservation policies can be based.
